  • Literacy night is this Thursday! Come and hear stories being read by different people from our community. Plus every child that comes gets a free book! At 6pm  meet in the Cafeteria for a welcome.

Report Cards: 

Report cards are coming today and tomorrow. We want your student at a 2 or 3 at this point in the year. We have started interventions for those students who need it.  Please refer to the following grading scale to see how your student is doing.  If you still have questions please feel free to email your students teacher. 


4= Mastery - Mastered end of the year power standard
3= Low Risk - On Track to master End of Year Power Standard
2= Some Risk - Has basic concepts or skills, but has not yet mastered the concept
1= High Risk - Significant Interventions Needed
Blank = Not Taught

Snow! 

  • Please make sure your students are dressed to play outside. 
  •   Report cards will be out soon! Remember your student should be at a 2 or 3 at this point in the year. 
  •       Language art project: We need newspapers with the black and white letter print. If you have any you could donate that would be great! 
  • Field Trip: We are going on a Field Trip this Thursday to the Story Telling Festival. We will be back in time for lunch at school.

Upcoming Events


  • Friday will be the last of the trimester. This means we are done with testing! In celebration of this and of earning our goal in Box Tops we will be having a movie and popcorn day on Friday. Students will be allowed to wear pajama's and bring a snack if they want to. We will be having normal activities in the morning and then starting the movie after that. If you have any questions feel free to contact us. 



  • In other news we will be taking a field trip the 5th of March to the Middle School for the Story Telling Festival. We will be leaving at 9:45 and will be back around 11:45.

We are starting to test for Sage writing this month and do our Benchmark testing for report cards. Please make sure your students attend school so that they can take the tests with their own class. Science projects will be due this Friday the 6th.
